At First Light Pathways, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education and the opportunities that come with it. However, many families—particularly middle-income and single-parent households—face financial and social barriers that hinder their children’s ability to thrive academically and personally.

Our Story

As a single parent raising my daughter in Naperville, I experienced firsthand the challenge of being told I "earned too much" for assistance—while still struggling to afford the best opportunities for her education and enrichment. Many families in our community fall into this unrecognized gap—earning too much for aid, yet not enough to comfortably provide their children with academic support and extracurricular activities.

Our mission is to bridge this gap by providing mindful educational support, financial assistance, and enrichment programs that empower students to thrive. We work to ensure that children—regardless of their financial situation—have access to tutoring, mentorship, school supplies, and extracurricular opportunities that foster academic and personal success.

NON-PROFIT

First Light Pathways is a nonprofit organization that serves children from preschool to high school, providing academic support, mentorship, and financial aid for educational and extracurricular needs. Our programs are designed to ensure that no child is left behind due to financial constraints.

First Light Pathways is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Your support helps us continue empowering children through tutoring, mentorship, and enrichment.
